U10 Academy Boys Champions in the November 2011 Heartland Invitational Tournament. Coached by KC Fusion's Matt Brewer. They won all 4 games in route to their 2nd consecutive HIT Championship.
KC Fusion coaches Mike Cleary, Barry Cummings, Mo Loridon, Colin Bulwich and Mark Hughes conduct the annual Fall Academy Camp. This training is for all soccer players, from younger recreational players who are thinking of moving into premier, established young premier players who want more practice, to older players who want the extra skill development. The coaches had a terrific time working with all the players and look forward to seeing everyone this winter and spring!

U9 Academy Boys won the October 2011 Governor's Cup in Topeka . The team used solid defensive play to dominate the field allowing only 4 goals against while scoring 26. The team won games (10-2, 10-1, 6-1) to win the Championship, their 2nd tournament win this Fall. They also won the Heartland U9B Division 1 Championship going 7-0-1 in league play.
U10 Academy Boys Gold Division Champs in the October 2011 Incredible Pizza Fall Classic in Springfield, MO. Coached by KC Fusion's Matt Brewer. For the Fall season, these boys had a previous tourney final already under their belts and are currently in 1st place in league. Now they have a tourney championship to their credit and are seeing some rewards for all their hard work. Great stuff, boys!

During the fall season, Metro United Soccer Club and Girl Scout Troop #2034 teamed up to collect used uniforms and new/used soccer items for children in need. Donations benefited the following charities: the city of Wa in the Upper West Region of Ghana, Africa, Operation Breakthrough and Sports Gift Charities.

On October 1st - 2nd at Stump Park in Shawnee, KS, nearly 50 recreation teams from around the Kansas City metro area participated in the Kohl's American Cup Festival, hosted by Metro United Soccer Club!
